Basketball Recap: Valhalla Takes a Loss

Valhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 51-28 to the Kearny Komets. The Norsemen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Komets from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Valhalla's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Kearny, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Valhalla won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Montgomery will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Valhalla surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kearny, they will square off against Mission Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kearny is facing Mission Bay at the right time seeing as Mission Bay is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
