Football Recap: Camden County Takes a Loss

Camden County's last matchup with Holmes could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Bruins took a blow against the Aces, falling 51-7. The Bruins have struggled against the Aces recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Camden County still got an impressive performance from Javon Riddick, who rushed for 63 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Holmes, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Camden County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 35-22 victory against Bertie on the 10th. As for Holmes, they have also already played their next matchup, a 49-30 win against Gates County on the 10th.
