Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manteca). Their defense stepped up to hand the Merced Bears a 3-0 shutout on Friday. The Buffaloes better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Serenity Cerritos, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Manteca now has a winning record of 3-2-2. As for Merced, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Manteca will venture away from home to face off against Oakdale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Oakdale's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Merced will take on Pitman in a holiday battle at at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
