Baseball Recap: Taylor Prep Takes a Loss

Taylor Prep lost to Greenhills back in April of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 11-7 to the Gryphons. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taylor Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khiry Harris, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Taylor Prep's loss dropped their record down to 17-14-1. As for Greenhills, their win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-20.

Looking ahead, Taylor Prep will venture away from home to take on Whiteford at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Greenhills, they will welcome Stockbridge at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Gryphons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
