Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Democrats vs. Los Angeles Romans

Jefferson is on a three-game streak of home losses, Los Angeles a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Jefferson Democrats will host the Los Angeles Romans at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Jefferson came up short against Dr. Maya Angelou Community on Friday, falling 47-26. The match marked the Democrats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles ended up a good deal behind West Adams on Friday and lost 29-11.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Los Angeles, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Jefferson didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Los Angeles in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 31-26 victory. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does Los Angeles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
