Baseball Recap: Huron Takes a Loss

Huron managed to slip by Perkins the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 10-0 to the Pirates on Wednesday. Considering the last time the Tigers couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10-1. As for Perkins, they pushed their record up to 18-5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huron will face off against Genoa Area at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Perkins, they will take on Clay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
