Soccer Recap: Venice Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Venice can now relate to. They came up short against the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders on Thursday, falling 5-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Gondoliers haven't been shut out since back in January.

Venice's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Granada Hills Charter, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Venice does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granada Hills Charter, they will face off against San Pedro at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Pedro will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Granada Hills Charter surely won't give up without a fight.
