There's no place like home for the San Pasqual Valley Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 45-32 win over Anthem Prep on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as San Pasqual Valley also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Leading San Pasqual Valley to victory were Kyla Emerson and Daeja Villicana. Emerson scored 20 points, while Villicana scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Emerson has scored at least 25% of San Pasqual Valley's points. Another player making a difference was AB Ruiz, who scored 4 points along with 11 rebounds.
San Pasqual Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Anthem Prep, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
San Pasqual Valley will head out on the road to face off against Ray at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Ray focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday. As for Anthem Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against North Valley Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m.
