Football Recap: Northfield Find Success

Northfield and Denver South faced off in a cross-town battle on Friday. The Nighthawks came out on top against the Ravens by a score of 10-3. For the Nighthawks, this counts as revenge for the 19-8 win the Ravens walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Northfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Denver South, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Northfield is taking a road trip to face off against Thomas Jefferson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The contest will give the Nighthawks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Denver South, they will be playing at home against Arvada West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ravens will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
