Baseball Recap: Big Spring Comes Up Short

Big Spring lost to East Pennsboro on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-5 to the Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Big Spring's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for East Pennsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Big Spring didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Boiling Springs on the 26th. As for East Pennsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 loss against Northern Lebanon on the 25th.
