Basketball Recap: Penn Cambria Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Reagan Ronan and Makenna Mccoy

Penn Cambria lost against Greater Johnstown back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Penn Cambria Panthers took a 53-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greater Johnstown Trojans.

MaKenna McCoy and Reagan Ronan certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. McCoy went 6 of 12 to rack up 16 points and six rebounds, while Ronan posted seven points and six boards. Ronan is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Rachel Fisher, who had eight points.

Penn Cambria's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Greater Johnstown, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Penn Cambria didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-51 victory against Somerset on the 29th. As for Greater Johnstown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-36 win against Tyrone on the 30th.
