Soccer Recap: Ridgewood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ridgewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Saint Viator Lions, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Ridgewood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Saint Viator are ranked 47th).

Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Saint Viator, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgewood will host Glenbard South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saint Viator, they will challenge Niles Notre Dame at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
