Football Recap: Ellsworth's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Ellsworth extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Tucker Goss. The Bearcats really took it to the Lyons Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-3 victory thanks in part to Goss, who rushed for 303 yards and three scores while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

Ellsworth didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Landon Vague and Rett Bohl.

Ellsworth's record is now 4-0. As for Lyons, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Ellsworth will head out to take on Hillsboro on Friday. As for Lyons, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Southeast of Saline at 7:00 p.m. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 8.5 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
