Gunn waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 victory over the Wilcox Chargers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-41 back in January.

Gunn's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Wilcox, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gunn won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against University Prep Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gunn is facing University Prep Academy at the right time seeing as University Prep Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wilcox, they will be playing at home against Palo Alto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
