Recap: Grand Terrace Titans vs. Carter Lions
The Grand Terrace Titans entered their tilt with the Carter Lions with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Grand Terrace managed a 41-36 win over Carter on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Grand Terrace, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grand Terrace to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayleen Barajas, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Barajas is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Philosphy Heard was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight steals and seven rebounds.
Grand Terrace has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Carter, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.
Grand Terrace will be playing in front of their home fans against Rim of the World at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rim of the World is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Carter, they will head out on the road to square off against Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
