St. Michael the Archangel came out on top against Bishop LeBlond on Monday thanks in part to Sophie Young's efforts. Nobody could stop Young as she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
