Softball Recap: Meeker Takes a Loss

After flying high against Battle Mountain on Monday, Meeker came back down to earth. The Cowboys lost 17-4 to the Eagle Valley Devils on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Cowboys in their meetings with the Devils: they've now lost four in a row.

Meeker's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Eagle Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-12-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Devils beat Meeker by a score of 16-7 later that day.
