Softball Recap: Woodland Victorious

Woodland's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Chapel Hill Panthers with a sharp 19-8 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Woodland's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Chapel Hill, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Woodland will face off against Hart County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chapel Hill, they will take on Cass at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
