Soccer Game Preview: Homestead vs. Los Altos

Homestead and Los Altos are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. The Homestead Mustangs will welcome the Los Altos Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Homestead's last six contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Los Altos will have to contend with a Homestead squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen yet this season. Homestead and Santa Clara finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw on Friday. That draw made it three straight for the Mustangs.

Neve Keren and Saara Lahtela scored both of Homestead's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Los Altos was forced to settle for a draw. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Leland.

With that draw, Homestead's record moves to 0-2-4. Meanwhile, Los Altos' record is now 1-3-1.
