Softball Recap: Colfax-Mingo Takes a Loss

Colfax-Mingo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Mahaska Warhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on June 3rd.

Colfax-Mingo's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for North Mahaska, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Colfax-Mingo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-9 win against Belle Plaine on the 27th. North Mahaska has also already played their next game (against Grand View Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
