Florida high school football: State passing, rushing and receiving yardage leaders

Jordan Durham, Amari Clemons and Terrell Bryant lead state in passing, rushing and receiving.

According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, Jordan Durham of Zarephath Academy (Jacksonville) leads Florida high school football in passing yards with 2,097 yards in just five games. The senior signal caller has piled up over 300 yards in each game with 20 touchdowns against one interception, helping the Eagles go 5-0.

The state's top runner is Amari Clemons of Marianna with 851 yards for the 4-0 Bulldogs. The 5-foot-10 junior averages 12.9 yards per carry with 13 touchdowns. Clemons has rushed for 120 yards or more in each game this season with his top performance coming in the opening week when he had 26 carries for 383 yards and six touchdowns in a 50-44 victory over Walton (DeFuniak Springs).

The leading receiver is Terrell Brant of Zarephath Academy, who has 959 yards on 32 catches. The 5-11 senior has gone over 125 yards in each of his five games with 14 touchdowns on the year. He had a season-high 279 yards on eight receptions in a 48-30 triumph over South Fork (Stuart) on Aug. 29.
