It was a good run, but Maeser Prep Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the St. Joseph Jayhawks by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Maeser Prep Academy of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Jack Watkins and Nathan Bowler scored both of Maeser Prep Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Maeser Prep Academy's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for St. Joseph, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Maeser Prep Academy will square off against rival Rowland Hall at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Joseph is set to face off against their familiar foe American Leadership Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
