Softball Recap: Tupelo Finds Home Field Redemption Against Geronimo

There's no place like home for Tupelo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Geronimo Blue Jays by a score of 4-1 on Thursday.

Tupelo pushed their record up to 6-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Geronimo, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Tupelo will face off against Coalgate at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. Geronimo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
