Softball Recap: Kellyville Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

Kellyville's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Salina Wildcats 13-1. Considering the Ponies have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lizzie Critser was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Teagan Neal, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Kellyville is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Salina, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

As of now, neither Kellyville nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
