Hazel Cooke leads Willits to victory over Lower Lake

Recap: Willits Wolverines vs. Lower Lake Trojans
The Willits Wolverines lost to the Lower Lake Trojans back in January, but the Willits Wolverines didn't allow the Lower Lake Trojans the same satisfaction on Saturday. Willits snuck past Lower Lake with a 48-43 victory.
Hazel Cooke continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with five blocks. That's the first time this season that she posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Cecily Potter, who scored 14 points.
Willits' victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Lower Lake, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Willits is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Fort Bragg at 5:00 p.m. on December 19th. Lower Lake will be home for the holidays to greet Upper Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Lake is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
