Woodruff won the last time they faced Laurens and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Woodruff Wolverines came out on top in a nail-biter against the Laurens Raiders, sneaking past 41-39. The win was familiar territory for the Wolverines who have now won five games in a row.

Jensyn Turner was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. Kara West was another key player, putting up four points.

Woodruff's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Laurens, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Woodruff will host Southside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Laurens, they will head out to square off against Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
