Football Game Preview: Logan Longhorns vs. Floyd Broncos + Official Tickets

The Logan Longhorns will face off against the Floyd Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Logan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Floyd likes a good challenge.

Logan is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: New Mexico School for the Deaf, who was ranked 14th at the time (Logan was ranked third). The Longhorns simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Roadrunners 64-12. The Longhorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 50 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 56 points the game before, Floyd was a bit more limited in their matchup last Friday. They were dealt a 57-6 loss at the hands of Grady. The Broncos have struggled against the Bronchos recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Logan's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Floyd, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Logan against Floyd when the teams last played back in September, as the team secured a 57-0 victory. Do the Longhorns have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
