Softball Recap: West Marshall Comes Up Short

The West Marshall Trojans didn't have quite enough to beat the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

West Marshall's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Martensdale-St. Mary's, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

West Marshall will challenge Roland-Story at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans are facing the Norsemen at the right time seeing as the Norsemen are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Martensdale-St. Mary's has already played their next match (against Southwest Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
