Soccer Recap: Brookwood Takes a Loss

Brookwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Berkmar Patriots. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2018.

Brookwood's goal came courtesy of Victor Osemene, who's now up to three this season.

Brookwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Berkmar, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Brookwood didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against South Forsyth on the 18th. Berkmar has also already played their next match (against Buford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
