Softball Recap: North Iowa Comes Up Short

North Iowa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the North Union Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in May.

North Iowa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for North Union, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

North Iowa has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 19th. As for North Union, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Spencer on the 19th.
