Basketball Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

Whitehall lost against Emmaus back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Whitehall Zephyrs came up short against the Emmaus Hornets, falling 61-38. While losing is never fun, the Zephyrs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while the Hornets are ranked 26th).

Whitehall has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Emmaus, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

As of now, neither Whitehall nor Emmaus have any future games scheduled.
