Basketball Recap: Hanford Comes Up Short

Hanford lost against Mission Oak back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hanford Bullpups lost 59-38 to the Mission Oak Hawks. The Bullpups' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Mission Oak found their leader in sophomore Aiyana Murray, who almost dropped a triple-double with 20 points, 14 rebounds, and nine steals. The dominant performance gave Murray a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Serpa, who posted 17 points and six steals.

Hanford's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Mission Oak, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-14.

Hanford has already played their next match (against Lemoore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mission Oak also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Dinuba.
