Softball Recap: Edmund Burke Academy Takes a Loss

Edmund Burke Academy was the 18-9 winner over Gatewood when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators on Monday.

Edmund Burke Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Gatewood, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Edmund Burke Academy will square off against rival Brentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gatewood is set to take on their familiar foe Briarwood Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
