Volleyball Recap: Omaha North Comes Up Short

It was a classic North v. South duel when Omaha North challenged Omaha South on Saturday. The Vikings fell just short of the Packers by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Packers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Tuesday.

Cara Travis paced Omaha North's offense, picking up five kills. Travis got some help from Ka'Brianna Lowe and her ten assists. NiKole Lasher controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Omaha North has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Omaha South, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-10.

Omaha North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Millard South on the 16th. As for Omaha South, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Marian on the 16th.
