Baseball Recap: Long County Comes Up Short

Long County fell victim to Southeast Bulloch and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Blue Tide have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Long County and nudges their season record down to 11-7. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Southeast Bulloch, they pushed their record up to 8-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

While Long County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
