Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Gets the Win

Holy Cross's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They slipped by the Western Wayne Wildcats 36-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2021.

Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Western Wayne, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Holy Cross will welcome Honesdale at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Wayne has already played their next match (against Riverside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
