Baseball Game Preview: St. Andrew's Lions vs. The Habersham School Patriots

The St. Andrew's Lions will head out on the road to square off against The Habersham School Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Andrew's has given up an average of 12.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, St. Andrew's came up short against Coastal HomeSchool and fell 13-9. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Hurricanes: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, The Habersham School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-5 to New Hampstead.

St. Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for The Habersham School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

St. Andrew's couldn't quite get it done against The Habersham School when the teams last played back in March of 2024 as they fell 12-8. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
