Baseball Recap: Noxon Takes a Loss

Noxon fell victim to Stevensville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 9-0 to the Yellowjackets. The Red Devils' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Noxon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Koskela, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base. Justice Kayser also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Noxon's record is now 2-11. As for Stevensville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Noxon will square off against Lincoln County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stevensville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
