Bishop Alemany won the last time they faced Marymount and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bishop Alemany Warriors took down the Marymount Sailors 67-48. With that win, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 50.5 points per game.

Bishop Alemany got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lexie Acquah-Adubah out in front who posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Acquah-Adubah is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Briana Lopez, who went 8 for 18 on her way to 16 points and five boards.

Bishop Alemany smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Several Sailors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alianna Hong, who put up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Sienna Beccaria, who earned 14 points.

Bishop Alemany has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Marymount, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Bishop Alemany didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-38 win against Flintridge Sacred Heart on the 30th. Marymount has also already played their next game, a 56-49 loss against Immaculate Heart on the 27th.
