Soccer Recap: Branson Victorious

Branson lost to Casa Grande back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Branson Bulls sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Casa Grande Gauchos. The Bulls' winning goal came courtesy of Riley Pearson.

The victory made it two in a row for Branson and bumps their season record up to 15-3-2. As for Casa Grande, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-1-2.

Branson and Casa Grande should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Branson (ranked 66th) will meet Terra Linda (ranked 317th) at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Casa Grande will face off against Petaluma at 6:00 p.m. on Monday up 216 places (141 vs. 357).
