Soccer Game Preview: Independence vs. Lincoln

The Independence 76ers will square off against the Lincoln Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Independence's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Independence fell victim to Westmont and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Lincoln kept a clean sheet against Gunderson on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Grizzlies. Considering the Lions have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7-1.
