Baseball Recap: Windham Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Windham came into Saturday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Westbrook Blue Blazes by a score of 5-1 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-4 back in April.

Mason Rulman was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Windham is 2-1 when Rulman posts two or more runs, but 1-9 otherwise.

Windham always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Windham's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Westbrook, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Windham has already played their next contest, a 13-3 defeat against Marshwood on the 26th. As for Westbrook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-0 loss against Gorham on the 26th.
