Softball Game Preview: Naylor Eagles vs. Central Tigers

Naylor hasn't had much luck against Central recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles will take on the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Naylor couldn't beat Doniphan on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles came up short against the Dons, falling 20-4.

Naylor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faithlynn ?Gracie? Tillman, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Central fell victim to Saxony Lutheran and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Crusaders. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost six in a row.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Naylor, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Naylor couldn't quite get it done against Central in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 9-6. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
