Soccer Recap: Deerfield-Windsor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Monroe last Monday, Deerfield-Windsor came back down to earth. The Deerfield-Windsor Knights lost 5-2 to the Valwood Valiants on Tuesday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Valiants apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Deerfield-Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Valwood, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Deerfield-Windsor will be playing at home against Brookwood at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Valwood, they will head out to face off against Valdosta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Valwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
