Recap: San Jacinto Tigers vs. Beaumont Cougars
The San Jacinto Tigers waltzed into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins but they left with four. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Beaumont 41-38. This was payback for San Jacinto, who suffered a 78-34 loss the last time these two teams met.
San Jacinto got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Keyera Cameron out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luv'lee Sadler, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds.
San Jacinto's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Beaumont, they have fallen quite a ways from their 19-5 record last season and are now at 1-3.
San Jacinto will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hemet at 6:30 p.m. Beaumont will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Temecula Valley at 6:15 p.m. on December 7th.
