Legend won the last time they faced Chatfield and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Titans narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Chargers 4-3. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by just one run.

Maddie Kessel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits.

On the hitting side, Legend saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tru Dorsey, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double was Dorsey's first of the season.

Legend is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Chatfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Legend will take on Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chatfield, they will take on Raymore-Peculiar in a tournament on Friday.
