Softball Recap: Davenport North Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Davenport North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let the Iowa City West Trojans get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in July of 2019.

Davenport North's victory bumped their record up to 19-22. As for Iowa City West, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Davenport North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Linn-Mar on the 12th. Iowa City West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
