Football Game Preview: Sherwood Warriors vs. Blake Bengals + How To Watch

The Sherwood Warriors will challenge the Blake Bengals at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Blake will be up against a hot Sherwood team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Warriors claimed a resounding 49-0 win over Rockville. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Rams are ranked 123rd).

Meanwhile, Blake was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Springbrook 61-7. The victory continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won eight in a row.

Sherwood better keep an eye on Dereion Wilkinson. He was instrumental in Blake's win, picking up 34 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Junior Rodriguez, who rushed for 57 yards and one TD on only six carries.

Blake's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sherwood, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.
