Baseball Recap: Coosa Comes Up Short

Coosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Christian Heritage Lions, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on Thursday.

Coosa saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Cannon, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Coosa's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Christian Heritage, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Coosa will take on Armuchee at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian Heritage, they will square off against Darlington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
