Softball Recap: Davis County Comes Up Short

Davis County blew Mediapolis out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Mediapolis got their revenge. The Mustangs fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Mustangs have suffered since June 6th.

Davis County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Mediapolis, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mediapolis beat Davis County by a score of 4-3 later that day.
